#81: Productlab on Tour: Berlin, Barcelona, Milan! We are coming!
PM news, expert insights, Community and Conference updates, open roles, and events to help you grow your career and network.
Hey community 👋,
We’re experimenting with visiting new tech hubs and getting to know other communities. For our conference, people joined from all around Europe, and we thought, why not meet them in person and see how conversations and challenges are evolving?
📍 Berlin, 🎫 We are coming back to Beam!
We’re bringing together around 40 people from the community for a focused evening on one of the hardest things in product: the 0 to 1 journey. If you’re a builder — someone working on early-stage ideas, running experiments, or trying to figure out what’s actually worth building — this one is for you. The goal isn’t to hear polished success stories. It’s to sit in a room with people who’ve been through it and get honest about what worked, what didn’t, and why. The reasoning behind the decisions matters just as much as the outcomes, and that’s exactly the kind of conversation we want to create space for.

FinTech 2026: Prompt Optimization & the Death of Transaction Stress
In FinTech, minor AI hallucinations create major liabilities. This deep dive from Product Faculty explores how Prompt Optimization, shifting from vague instructions to strict “Output Contracts”, eliminated 100% of formatting drift. By treating prompts as cognitive architecture, teams can stabilize complex financial workflows, ensuring the deterministic accuracy required for modern FinTech systems.
Melissa Douros (CPO at Green Dot) argues FinTech must move beyond transactions to optimize for human emotion. In this standout episode of the Launchpod, she introduces the “Cortisol UI”, a framework for building FinTech experiences that actively fix empathy problems and reduce user anxiety before a transaction occurs. In this edition of FinTech Pulse, Lina Lim explores how Pay-by-Bank and AI-driven checkout optimization are disrupting traditional card networks. As merchants seek to slash fees, the shift toward direct, intelligence-led account-to-account (A2A) payments is becoming the new gold standard for high-conversion FinTech platforms in 2026.
