🎫 HeyJobs post-event reflections
A huge thanks to Viktoria Repich for her thoughtful recap of the amazing community event Elena organized. Thanks, Daniel, Fulvio, and Tural!
Reading it reminded us why we do this work: we’re building lasting impact for the product community, and we want to bring even more of it in 2026. That means creating stronger support systems to help you find your growth path and tackle your biggest challenges.
This Q4 has been transformative for us. We redesigned our website, experimented with artistic AI tools, and joined PeecAI’s AMA session to spotlight the incredible builders raising funds right here in Berlin. We also launched our Leaders Circle program, which has seen encouraging early traction, and began assembling a strong lineup of board members for the 2026 conference.
What does this mean for you?
More relevant connections. Deeper learning opportunities. Direct access to top leaders—all at the best possible moment to build in tech. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
BONUS
Fulvio Minichini kindly shared his recorded presentation with us as he couldn’t assist to the event 👇

How to Build Product Teams That Actually Care (And Keep Them That Way)
When Vivek Juneja walked into On—the Swiss sportswear brand backed by Roger Federer—as one of their first engineering managers, he faced a problem most product leaders know too well. The company was scaling fast, but they needed to build a product and engineering organization from the ground up. Not just any organization—one that could move at startup s…
How WeRoad Turned 1,200 Solo Travelers Into a Year-Round Community Movement
When Simone Basso and the team launched WeRoad Events in 2024, they faced a problem most travel companies would kill for: they had thousands of customers who loved their group trips—but only traveled 1-2 times per year.
📰 Product Leaders’ Wisdom
Brought to you weekly by Leila Montazeri
Should We Build an AI Agent or Not? Last week on Mind the Product, Shruti Tiwari cut through the hype around agentic AI with a simple question: when does a workflow truly benefit from an autonomous agent, and when does it only add unnecessary complexity? She highlights where agents excel and where they quietly introduce risk, while urging PMs to focus on goals, guardrails, and real-world consequences rather than capabilities alone.
Teresa Torres shows how Claude Code can evolve into a personal operating system, automating everything from research to daily workflows—but only if you learn to manage the risk. Through seven tiers of access, she reframes a non-technical leader’s role as the gatekeeper: never approve what you don’t understand, and always build your own “undo” before you let an AI touch your files.
Frank Chimero argues in his new article that much of today’s digital world now resembles Akerlof’s “market for lemons,” where quality gets drowned out by system-gamers and noise. From e-commerce to hiring, the meta has overtaken the craft, and the consequences are everywhere. Her provocation is simple yet pointed: what happens when outcomes overshadow the actual work?
