Product Week; AI, prototyping, and Free Drinks at Bonial 🍻
ProductLab Conference week is right around the corner, but we’re starting the party a little early 🎊. We’re teaming up with our friends at Bonial to host a local Satellite event at their Berlin office on Monday, September 14, and you’re invited!
What are we talking about? AI has completely changed how fast we can turn ideas into prototypes. But as low-to-mid fidelity prototyping shifts out of standard design workflows and into the hands of Product Managers, how do PMs and Designers work together without stepping on each other’s toes?
Steven Gillmann (Head of Product, Bonial) and John-Erik Jordan (Design Leader) will run a practical session walking through a real-world case study on onboarding improvements and how AI redefined their workflow.
🗓️ 14th of September, 18:00 – 21:30
📍 Bonial HQ, Berlin
Bonus perks for attending:
Free Online Pass to the main ProductLab Conference Day (Sept 17)
10% off any in-person main conference ticket
Quick heads-up: Approval is required to save a spot. Registration opens on Sept 1 at 08:00 AM, spaces are limited!

Unscripted & Unfiltered: How We’re Closing Craft & AI Labs Day
We all know how a workshop day starts, and we can all guess what happens in between, but you can’t imagine how a workshop day ends at Productlab Conference.
After a full day of practical frameworks at our Craft & AI Labs Day, we’re handing the final 30 minutes over to Birte Loeckel for a high-energy, surprisingly useful session: Impro for Leaders. Because in product leadership, the biggest breakthroughs usually happen right after “well, that wasn’t supposed to happen.”
🗓️ 16th of September (Right after the core workshops)
Afterwork aperitif with Csaba Tamas, CTPO of Parloa🍷
How do you restructure product and tech teams while AI changes how we build? Csaba’s living that question at Parloa right now, and he’ll open the table with what’s working and what he’d do differently.
Is also the opportunity to exchange before the Leaders day with Ravi Mehta, where Csaba and other senior leaders will join.
Max 10 of us, first drink’s on Productlab.
🗓️ 3th of September, 19:00 – 21:00
📍 Mitte, Berlin
📰 Product Leaders’ Wisdom
Brought to you weekly by Leila Montazeri
AI makes building software easy; product thinking, problem discovery, and strategic judgment remain the hard part.
ProductMind highlights a key truth:
A tech company = Code + Product + Business. While AI makes code generation easier, product and business judgment, knowing what to build, remains the real challenge. Discover tools to automate product judgment, sharpen your feature decisions, and build what users actually need.
Marty Cagan highlights that AI tools don’t eliminate product roles. Building software isn’t the hard part; knowing what should exist and how is. Product managers uniquely bridge this gap by discovering root problems, solving value risks beyond user capabilities, and ensuring business viability. Tools change; the product craft remains essential.
David Pereira argues that true product growth comes from “adding by subtracting.” Instead of adding more AI tools or processes, PMs must eliminate noise. By purging stale backlogs, removing recurring meetings, and challenging artificial predictability, teams regain focus. As Pereira emphasizes: backlog items age like milk, not wine.
